New for 2014, Racing Edge Motorsports is offering a building service for the Rotax power plants. Servicing all engines from Micro Max directly through to Rotax DD2. The Rotax program is currently the main category for two cycle racing in Canada and in a majority of countries around the world. REM now offers all Rotax products and does servicing for the REM race team.
The engine program will be headed up by long time karting enthusiast and multi time champion Glenn Butler. Combined with many years of experience Glenn will be working in conjunction with some of the teams top drivers to enhance the capabilities of the engine and provide the most power from each power plant. The Rotax engine offers supreme quality and a very strict rule set, which allows for a level playing field across the categories. REM works very hard to ensure that the engines are working at their peak performance, and constantly running research and development initiatives to ensure that REM has the maximum competitive edge in everything they work on.
REM will be using some of the finest and most sophisticated technology to ensure maximum use of horsepower. Many testing sessions will be completed to bring out the maximum in each engine built. REM has acquired many different relationships, which are used to the maximum of their potential to ensure that each customer’s engine is at the maximum performance each time they hit the track. Although racing is a three part package of Driver, Chassis and Engine; REM firmly believes that the engines produced in the shop will be at the top of the charts each time they hit the track.
